Please join us for a critical discussion on how a new, more effective TB vaccine is essential to stopping the growing global TB epidemic. The panel will be moderated by The Rt Hon Nick Herbert CBE MP, co-chairman of the UK All Party Parliamentary Group on TB and the Global TB Caucus. Panelists will include:

  • Dr. Tatyana Yakovleva, Deputy Minister of Healthcare of Russia
  • Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi, Minister of Health of South Africa
  • Dr. Jorge Daniel Lemus, Minister of Health of Argentina

Panelists will highlight the potential human and economic impact of a new TB vaccine, explain the role of TB vaccines in the fight against antimicrobial resistance, and discuss solutions to the current funding gap for TB vaccine research and development.
