Clinical Quality Assurance Director

The Clinical QA Director, who will be based in Aeras’ Cape Town, South Africa office, is responsible for ensuring that the Clinical Program complies with relevant US and international regulations, company policies and procedures.

Director, Statistics & Data Management

The Director, Statistics and Data Management will supervise the deployment of all Statistics and Clinical Data Management personnel and vendor management at Aeras.


The Controller is the senior person in the Accounting Department, overseeing all day-to-day activities including executing monthly, quarterly and year-end closings; preparing financial statements and grantor financial reports; managing cash; and managing the annual audit and budget processes.

Vice President, Technical Operations

This position is responsible for providing leadership and management for the Technical Operations function which consists of Manufacturing, Process Development, Engineering and Laboratory Operations.

External Affairs Manager

The External Affairs Manager will work closely with the Vice President of External Affairs and the department staff to develop and monitor work plans, prepare budgets and monitor and evaluate programmatic activities.

Director, Clinical Development

The Director, Clinical Development will serve as a Product Director and clinical development and medical expert. The Director will oversee the design, management, and execution of clinical development plans and the design and implementation of clinical trials intended to evaluate and support licensure of investigational vaccines to prevent tuberculosis (TB).

Quality Control Associate

The incumbent will join the QC team to support manufacturing activities using Good Manufacturing and Good Laboratory Practices.
